What to do at a property auction ?



  •     Collect a copy of the Conditions of Sale when you register; please make sure that you read through and understand the contents.
  •     It is quite acceptable to ask the Auctioneer or PROPROPERTY.COM staff any relevant questions before the auction sale commences.
  •     inspect the property to acquaint yourself fully before the auction sale commences
  •     Please remember that auction sales are not suspensive and are sold "voetstoots".
  •     Watch, listen, ask and bid only when you feel comfortable to do so
  •     You are required to sign all documentation and pay the deposit and auctioneers fees immediately after making your purchase.
 
Please note:
  •     You need to have completed your financial arrangements prior to the auction sale
  •     Commission and taxes are payable over and above your bid price
  •     All deposits are paid into our Trust Accounts as prescribed by the relevant legislation
  •     No cash, fully or in part, is accepted at any auction sale.
  •     Our auctioneer is a qualified member of the S.A. Institute of Auctioneers and the EAAB (Estate Agency Affairs Board of South Africa)
